-High school diploma or equivalent -A Valid 2nd class Engineering Certificate a minimum -Minimum 3 years Powerhouse Engineer experience - manufacturing experience preferred -Knowledge and experience with Hydraulic or Pneumatic equipment an asset -Good understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming -Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills -Comfortable with a face-paced environment -Self-starter with an ability to work with limited supervision -Excellent sense of urgency, work ethic and attendance record
Monday to Sunday shift rotation schedule. 40 hours per week. -Operate ammonia, CO2, Compressed air, Cogeneration, Boiler and Steam systems in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures -Effectively Operating HVAC Unit for proper ventilation -Performing preventive maintenance routine and repair completions -Maintenance documentation updates -Respect of plant policy (Safety, Environment, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points -Other duties as required
