Knowledge of different cuts and preparation of meat (beef, pork, poultry) preferred Comfortable working during peak grocery Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Thursday is a longer day (abattoir). Operate meat processing equipment such as grinders, slicers and saws Cut and package meat products Stock and maintain shelves Clean and sanitize work areas Cut, trim, weigh and prepare standard cuts of meat Prepare special orders as per customer requests Prepare sausage and smoked meats Able to work within a fast paced environment
